so, here we are. walking down towards our "pelamin"

walking anxiously but excited at the red carpet, towards our "pelamin", with the sounds of "Kompang"

there u are. we finally get to sit at our "Pelamin" after 10 minutes of walking at the bright, fabulous red carpet. tehee , and we've been welcomed with Zapin Dance right after that.

then, recite 'doa'(prayer) to " bless" the wedding

then, "merenjis session" from both my family and his family members to us.

then, we walked to our table to have our Wedding Dinner or "Makan Beradap", (time- so does the guest)

and the cute Zapin Boys and Girls entertained us with their Zapin dance

Then, the ''cake-cutting' session. heee

a story from a friend of mine -
its funny when you dream about someone and turn out to be true. do you believe in that? i mean for real .oh, come on! sometimes, yeah it happens. but if it constantly happen, that is totally bullshit. that is what u call stalking about that person, not dreaming . lol! please stop the drama,(that u been given 'gift by god??' by getting dream about the same person (i mean ,all the time??) oh please, i dont buy that,woman!, i do believe in miracle , but i just dont trust you, because you are stalker.) and get a life. seriously girl. make yourself busy! find a job that will make you feel occupied all the time. not by intruding some one elses life by being a busy body.

my very first attempt of makin red velvet cake. frosting/icing whatever they call it , terlebih cair pula..
The instructions are as follows: BIG apologies for the quality of the photos as I only use my digital camera to snap the pix. ; I accidentally broke my DSLr lens :(

The Cake

1. Preheat ur oven to 180 degree Celcius ,

Then u need two (2) round baking pan, sprayed with non stick vege spray / or u can just put oil/butter

2) we need mixer, a large bowl for ingredients as picture below( you will know whats the ingredient as I explain the process of making ths red velvet )

3 ) place 250g sifted (ayak) cake flour in a bowl, add half a tea spoon of salt.then ,add 2 table spoon of unsweetened cocoa powder (sifted) ,

4) whisk them(cake flour,salt and cocoa powder) together like the photo below(thts my husband hand, not me as idonthavefatfingers haha)

5) And then, you need 240ml of butter milk (to make it moist) ,

then add 2-3 tablespoon of liquid red food coloring.Whisk them together

6) it will look like this :)

7) OK, put 113g of unsalted butter (or u can use salted butter , its your choice k?) in a bowl of your stand mixer /hand mixer .Beat it until creamy. Then, add 300g of granulated white sugar ; beat until it smooth N creamy :)

8) Add 1 teaspoon of pure/artifical Vanilla extract ; then add 2 eggs, one at a time ok?? -Beat the first one in, then put another egg and beat it again.

9) then, add the powder mixture (cake powder+salt and cocoa powder tadi)

and the butter milk mixture alternately, sampai habis! :)

10) transfer the BRIGHT RED mixture into a LARGE bowl and mix one teaspoon of baking soda and one teaspoon of vinegar in a small bowl and quickly add it into the BRIGHT RED mixture.and mix them together. Then ,divide as best as u can between the two round baking pan.

Next, put them into the oven !!! 180degree. for 25-30mins

11) Once done , let ur red velvet cake cool to room temperature.

Wrap them in plastic wrap; and put them in the fridge

for couple of hours (supaya ia firm! ) or even days!

orang tak sempat siap pakai tudung lagi dia dah snap,

nasib sempat pose.dgn keadaan mata lebam ngantuk hihi

OKAY, 2nd round!

12) Use large knife to cut each cake into layers

For Cheese frosting

13) Use creme cheese and mascarpone cheese

(u can use regular creme cheese if u can't find mascarpone cheese, lagipon,

mascarpone mahal , around rm 20++, so guna creme cheese sahaja , ok?)

14) Put 200g of creme cheese and another 200g of mascarpone cheese ,

or like I said,you can just use creme cheese into the mixer . Beat them!

15) Add one teaspoon of vanilla extract and 300g of sifted (ayak) icing sugar BUT i only use 200g of icing sugar as im NOT a big fan of sweetbits. beat them at low speed!

16) Then add 150ml of heavy whipping creme(cold) ; and beat it again , just for a while.

17)Then start to place ur cheese frosting to the layer of your cake and
wallah. sorry, tak handsome! not as good as it supposed to be
as my cheese frosting melt for some reason. hmmph. if u knw the reason, please please please let me know.

but, i can say,,, it tastes YUMMY, my husband, parents and lil brothers love it !

of cooking laksa utara

.some viatnamese mint, pineapple,onion and some green chili.which is very expensive in melb.

the gravy. looks a bit red here, i purposely put extra red chili.
ingredients for gravy : sardine in can t, 2 glass of water,chili paste one table spoon, ginger flower (kantan),shrimp paste (belacan)

then .. salt and sugar.fell free to adjust to suit ur taste.
note : shrimp paste, salt and sugar. play around with these 3 ingredients sampai mak enon puas hatii.
lastly i put some prawn to make it rich. penoh perot.

nah .siap , senang ja!

Terus terang saya katakan saya tidak suka design Federation Square. blueek :)
concept design yang agak bagus, tetapi oleh kerana politic, katanya tidak dapat dilaksanakan sepenuhnya idea itu.(ini adalah rahsia katanya) yalahhhh tu .

dan mengenai design, menjadikan 'View' itu free. coz PEople pay for View. tapi dengan membuat ianya free kepada public. its one way untuk develop tempat itu.- jadi itu framework gwe.

well the project that im workin on is at Fitzroy Garden, where the whole idea will be using greywater from surrounding buildings, that will be stored in Cisterns underneath the Belvedere and will be cleaned through a bioretention filtration system, and this water can be used to water the gardens as Fitzroy garden is facing the same water shortage as all Melbun's big parks.
hehe , talking about sustainable design lah kunun.
hope will work, since they will bring this idea kat Melbourne Water.

scrambler, as in scrambler moto, bukan scrambler perosak atau scrambler circuit tu. ni scrambler moto, hehe :)

I love pop-up cards. I would love to make them, send them, and receive them. But as anyone who has tried to design their own cards knows, creating these things is really really hard. You have to cut, glue, fold, test, modify, cut, glue, test, on and on forever in order to get the pieces to move correctly. If the card is even mildly complicated, designing the card can become an endless project, haih!
i first know this popup card thingy from a fren of mine, Christina , she's in Electives popup card class last semester. so yeah, dari situ kutahu tentang popup card ini :)

tak abis penat lagi, jet lag kot!
pagi2 tu mama kejut , nak trus nak balik langkawi! ish ish , ms tu nak sambut hari raya aidil adha . nasib naik keta,so bleh tdo dlm keta, yes i am sleepyhead. and abah nak pi makan nasi lemak ali kat alor setar. yang tu mmg terbaik la nasi best gile :P

kat utara selama seminggu, best sgt hilang jap suma masalah jumpa adik2 sedara kat serata kedah. happy nyaaa! tb2 baru fhm napa isteri kalau ditinggalkan suami, anak2 jadi pengubat lara and semangat . (-_-)'
and, i bought my very first slr for 2200rm. its my father who bought it for me actually. aku mana ada duit! aku bli 1000D ja, sbb aku masih hingusan .lol.

5 december 2008:
(ntah nape aku gatai nak buat blog, so i started with the day i pulang ke Malaysia): lama duduk dlm plane, 8 jam yang aku habiskan dengan : 40 minit pertama tido, tp ntah nape plane tu tak naik2 pun lagi. (-_-)"
mamat saleh kat sebelah aku ni pandang2 byk kali dengan senyuman ; agaknya aku berdengkur kot. penat tau :P kemas barang nak pindah rumah.
time bangun tu, barulah plane mendaki awan. puasnya tido kejap. then movie marathon dlm plane, abis sume movie dlm tu aku tgk,
qada la. all this while busy final project je memanjang (walaupun bleh lgi allow some time untuk facebookin ngan sesi webcaming bernyanyi ngan orang tu) .sume skali 4 movie tgk batman,chi hua hua beverly hills, lagi 2 tak ingat cter ape, sbb tgk gitu2 je, kerana mamat salleh sebelah aku tanya cam2 soklan. tak senang duduk aku orang tua ni tau. tp sian die sbb ni first time dia dtg Malaysia.

setiba di airport, lepas sume hassle - pick up beg n stuff, nampak mama, abah ngan hafidz. mama ckp- kalong dah kurus :P Tang mana pun tatau lah, mungkin sbb Hafidz yang dah gemok! Hakeem n Hayei takda, depa pi balik Langkawi.
so, here we go. balik ke rumah .

p/s : i bought fossil wallet for Hafidz, fcuk shirts for Hakeem and a bag for Hayei, but none for Mama and Abah . (-_-)' erk
